when most teams were using the single Wing offense, the Bears perfected the T-formation, and they showcased the offense in the 1940 Championship Game, a 73-0 demolition of the Washington Redskins. The Bears 11 Touchdowns were scored by 10 different players.
The Bears attack rolled up 519 yards in total offense, Sid Luckman threw Only 6 passes. 4 for 102yds.
